Rough Times for Juanita Bynum
By Candy Monroe
Chicago, IL

Juanita Bynum, a televangelist who has won a national following with sermons about women's empowerment, was badly bruised in a fight with her estranged husband, Thomas W. Weeks III, founder of Global Destiny, as they met in an attempt to reconcile.

The fight happened ea in the parking lot of the Renaissance Concourse Hotel near Atlanta's airport, and a hotel bellman pulled Weeks off Bynum to stop the assault. Reports say Bynum was bruised battered, with purple bruising around her neck and upper torso.

Weeks, 40, was charged with felony aggravated assault, felony terroristic threats and two counts of simple battery in connection to the incident. His appearance in Fulton County Superior Court originally set for September 7th has been postponed indefinitely.

A lawyer for Thomas W. Weeks III said that the bishop is looking to reconcile with his wife or at least end their marriage amicably if she has filed for divorce. In a statement released by attorney Louis Tesser of Kessler, Schwarz and Solomiany, Weeks says he still hasn't received notice that a divorce filing has been made by his wife national evangelist Juanita Bynum.

Need More than Attraction
By Donnie Smith
St Petersburg, FL

Physical attraction in most cases serves as the curtain that blinds a man to the truth. In order for me to be involved with someone I must be connected to that person.

I am a firm believer that people are not their physical bodies. I believe that people exist inside of their external shells so the identity of one person can't be found anywhere on their physical body.

If I am going to be involved with a woman then I must only love her for her. I don't want to be mislead in anyway or have any doubts in my mind that I truly lover her for her. Therefore I should not be sexually attracted in anyway to the woman I am with. I only want to be attracted to her inner-being. If its her inner-being that I am strictly attracted to then I know that I am truly in love with her.

The Ultimate E-Ticket Ride
Go Where Only God Can Take You!
by Dr. David Jeremiah

Did you ever visit Disneyland in the good ole' days when you had to purchase a packet of tickets for the individual rides? Uncle Walt developed a three-tiered ticketing system when Disneyland opened in 1955. The smaller rides and lesser attractions required only A-tickets. More thrilling attractions required B- and C-tickets. The D-ticket was introduced the next year; and in 1959, the now-famous E-ticket was added. The very best rides like the Jungle Cruise and the Matterhorn Bobsleds required E-tickets.

Today the Disney parks have a one-price admission that has made this system obsolete, but "E-tickets" live on in the memories of a whole generation and have become a part of classic Americana. They symbolize the ultimate rides, the best experiences, and the most coveted moments in life.

For Christians, the ultimate lifetime experience comes when we yield ourselves fully to Jesus Christ. He gives us a packet of divine "E-tickets" that the world can never equal and that we can never exhaust. Christ himself becomes our guide, taking us to new heights, broader horizons, and more fulfilling destinations than we could ever imagine.
